A family legacy

Wavemill Healthcare has become a beacon of excellence in elderly care, with specialist care homes being established across Hampshire and Essex. Our family-run organisation is guided by the collective wisdom of our dedicated company directors and experienced home managers.
Our mission is to provide exceptional, dignified and person-centered care to all residents living within our homes and be regarded among the top care providers in the South of England.
Where it all began
Founded by Amir Asaria and Anver Visram in 1986, they set out to translate their knowledge of what the perfect care setting looks and feels like, and make that a living reality with the support of our wonderful team.
It began with the acquisition of Brookvale House in Portswood, before our portfolio expanded by opening Seven Arches in Brentwood and Ranvilles Nursing Home in Fareham, where we welcomed Mohammed Visram.
Each milestone in our growth reflects our unwavering dedication to improving care options in with an empathetic and compassionate approach.

We embraced a new chapter in 2021 and rebranded under Wavemill Healthcare, yet our essence remains deeply rooted in family values. In February 2025, we opened Waterside House in Netley; a stunning 48-bed waterfront oasis with state-of-the-art facilities, breathtaking views, and a homely setting.
We are renowned for our compassionate and comprehensive approach to elderly care. Waterside provides nursing, residential, respite, palliative and dementia care solutions; ensuring that all residents feel valued at all times and receive the dedicated attention they need and deserve.
